In week four technology class was quite informative. MrsRoberts taught us about the Assure model of teaching . We learn't how this model is used to state objectives of the lesson which should take into account all type of learners.

As stated by Bloom's Taxonomy when writing objectives they must be specifically based on the KSA domain.

   Task

.  Writing learning objectives using the KSA  method

. Edit blogs,  so it can be seen by others and also comment on other blogs.

I have learn't when writing learning objectives make sure they are measurable, observable statements of what students will be able to do at the end of the unit of learning. Strong objectives do not include vague or measurable terms. e.g understand, know ,learn etc. When planning we should take into consideration the different types of learners . We should use the Assure model when writing our objectives.

How to write a learning objective 💭

Step 1. Start with a stem sentence . e.g After completing this model you will be able to ......

Step 2. Determine the learning outcome

Step 3 Consult the Bloom's Wheel to select the appropriate level verb.

Step 4 Write the verb and learning outcomes into a statement  that when combined with the stem forms a complete sentence.

Challenges

Week 4 was quite challenging for me since I didn't know how to comment on others blog and edit my blog. However through detailed instruction from my teacher I was able to accomplish this task. I also didn't quite grasp how to write my objectives but with practice at home and assistance from other classmates I was able to overcome that challenge.

Conclusion: My motto in life is Through Christ all things are possible, with that in mind and with all the challenges experienced I will use this knowledge received to be more effective and cater to all the different learners that I may come across using the Vark model. I will also create my objectives using the Bloom's Taxonomy. Teaching and learning experience in my classroom will surely be fun and informative can't wait✊
