                           Week 8 Reflection on Spreadsheet

         

    This week we had to work on spreadsheets activities in groups.Spreadsheets can be used to enter your students grade,calculate averages and total score.

 Our group task was to create,format,edit a spreadsheet document we had to insert rows and column which had to be adjusted in some cases, depending on how many words typed . We also had to calculate students totals and averages at the end.

Challenges:

I never really worked with spreadsheet before but the teacher and group members made the transition quite easy for me . Each group member contributed by entering something on the spreadsheet and guiding each other if we weren't quite clear on something.

 What I have Learnt:

As a teacher using Spreadsheet can make my work so much easier since I can  use it to record students grades and calculate totals and averages.

Conclusion:

This will really be effective when I enter the classroom because I woudnt have to walk around with an exercise book but rather use excel to keep all my students grades in  order and in one place .
