Reflection 6
This week's task was to create our own Podcast and Video. The applications we had to download was Audacity and Windows Movie Maker. To complete this task we had to write our own script for our podcast. Im order for Audacity to save our files we had to download an application called Lame Encoder.

Some of the challenges I experienced was understanding how to operate audacity. Also to record in class was quite challenging since the auditorium was noisy and had an echco so I had to find a quiet room on campus to do so. Completing the task of making our movie was quite frustrating for myself and Afeesha since we were facing computer and internet issues. Plus trying to add a video to make our movie posed quite the challenge. However after getting assistance from one of our classmates we were able to complete our video sucessfully.
This week have surely taught me that all things can be completed through Christ and believing in yourself and also knowing whatever you put your mind to, you can achieve.
What I've Learnt:
I have learnt that Audacity can be used to record audio and you can also cut out the parts that is not needed in your recording. Window movie maker is also a very useful application , while making your video you can add images ,music and upload videos from you tube.You can also cut , trim and edit parts that is not necessary. Another important aspect is to reference /cite videos, images or anything you upload from the internet.
Conclusion: This week has been quite informative and these applications can become quite useful when planning my lessons to stimulate my children and cater for different learner types.
